Vertical Farming is the use of cubic space rather than just square metres. A traditional farm expands its cultivation space by capturing larger and larger tracts of rare and valuable arable land. A vertical farm stacks its 'soil', or beds filled with nutrient-rich water, upwards in layers, increasing its capacity while maintaining a small footprint. Vertical Farming frees up scarce arable land and protects our environment and forests by using existing warehouses to house it.

AquaVerti Farms, using quality as a guiding principle, designed its own hardware, software and robotics. Yes. Our containers are made of recycled food grade PET#1 plastic. We encourage our customers to recycle our containers again. Simply remove the label and place it in your recycling bin to give it a new life.

We use specific LEDs to grow our plants. These lights have specific light frequencies that tell our plants what to do. By understanding how the different frequencies work, we are able to optimize taste, texture and colour.
