AquaVerti Farms is the first vertical hydroponic farm in Quebec. We grow a variety of salad mixes, kale and arugula in Montreal without pesticides or GMO's, respecting the highest sustainable and environmental standards. Our production has increased and we are looking for a farm worker to join our team to help us in our daily operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in working in urban agriculture.

Your role will include, but not be limited to, the following duties:

• Daily tasks related to crops (planting, transplanting, harvesting and maintenance)
• Data entry
• Participate in team meetings to help improve processes
• Ensure the cleanliness of the production area and facilities

We are looking for a person who is :

• Passionate about sustainable and urban agriculture
• Detail oriented with high quality of work and can follow processes and procedures as required.
• Able to work independently and in a team
• Creative and problem solving skills
• Able to work standing for long periods of time.
• Hydroponics or greenhouse experience (theoretical / practical) would be considered an asset.

Part-time hours: 30 per week

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Salary: $14.50 per hour
